Parents and caregivers in the Comox Valley are being invited to learn, connect and access practical resources through a free speaker series returning this fall.
The Town of Comox’s Early Years Parent Speaker Series begins Tuesday, October 27, and continues for five Tuesday evenings through November 24.
Local early-years experts will explore a variety of parenting topics while sharing useful information, strategies and resources for families with young children.
Sessions run from 5 until 6:30 p.m. at the Comox Community Centre and include a complimentary healthy meal.
Free supervised activities will also be available for children during each session, allowing parents and caregivers to participate without having to arrange childcare.
The final gathering will move to the waterfront and take place inside the Genoa and Spinnaker buildings at Marina Park.
Registration is not required, although families can enrol to receive program updates and resources from the featured speakers.
Additional information is available at Town of Comox.
