Raven Bingo is simple, fun, and you can play from the comfort of your own home, or in a local business with friends! Just tune in and play, all while supporting First Nations youth programs.

Tickets are sold in person at local locations across Oceanside to Campbell River, Quadra & Cortes Islands, Powell River, Port Alberni & Nanaimo. Each $5 ticket gets you a 3-up bingo card.  Check the full list of ticket locations below.

2) Get ready for Wednesday night
Raven Bingo happens every Wednesday at 7:00 pm sharp. Grab a dabber and get comfortable with your tickets in your living room!

3) Tune in and play from your couch
At game time, tune into our Youtube Channel and play along as the numbers are called. 

4) If you win
If you get a bingo, contact us right away on our bingo hotline: 250 841 1007

We’ll confirm your card details live and guide you through collecting your prize!

Bingo cards are available until 7 PM every Wednesday, unless your favourite store closes earlier. Double-check local closing times so you don’t miss your chance to play.

Must be 19+ to purchase. Know your limit, play within it.

If you have a winning card, call 250-841-1007 immediately to claim your prize.  Once we have determined that you have a winning bingo card, you will be given instructions on how to collect your prize.  

Prizes can be claimed as early as the Friday after each game, Winners have 30 days to claim their prize

Winners can claim their prize in person by presenting their complete and undamaged Bingo card at the Homalco Band Office:
1218 Bute Crescent, Campbell River, BC V9H 1G5
Office hours: 9AM-12PM & 1PM to 4:30PM

If you are not able to go the the Homalco Band Office may receive payment by e-transfer or cheque, after advising Raven Bingo staff of your preference.

Payments may not be available until the Friday following each game.

Winning tickets must be turned in & you must sign when collecting prize.  ID may be required.

2026–27 Season  ·  Effective August 26, 2026  ·  BC Gaming Event Licence #174735

1.  ABOUT RAVEN BINGO

Raven Bingo is operated by the AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society under Class A Bingo Licence #174735, issued by the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO) of British Columbia. The licence term runs from August 1, 2026 to October 29, 2027. Under the terms of the licence, the last event date is July 31, 2027; the 90 days that follow are the reporting period for the Gaming Event Revenue and Disbursement Report, not playing dates.

Bingo games are conducted every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Raven Studio, 1218 Bute Crescent, Campbell River, BC V9H 1G5.

The AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society complies with the Gaming Control Act and Gaming Control Regulation, and with the Licensed Charitable Gaming Event Terms and Conditions and Licensed Charitable Gaming Event Guidance published by the IGCO, which replaced the former Licensed Charitable Gaming Rules on April 13, 2026.

Where these rules are posted

A copy of the gaming event licence and any amendments, these House Rules, the bingo program and the price list are posted or available:

• At Raven Studio, in clear view at every bingo event
• At every location where bingo cards are sold — see the website for current retailers
• On our website, www.theraven.fm/Raven-Bingo

All players are encouraged to review these House Rules carefully before playing.

2.  SESSION FORMAT

Each Raven Bingo session consists of four games played on the same 3-up bingo paper. One $5.00 strip plays all four games. The patterns below apply to sessions from August 26 through December 16, 2026. Any change of patterns will be posted and announced in advance of play.

Prize amounts change from week to week. The amounts above are the minimum prize for each game — weekly prizes may be higher, and are set in relation to card sales. The prizes for each session are posted and announced in advance of play, and all prizes are paid within the total approved on Licence #174735.

The FREE space in the centre of the card counts as a covered square in all four games.

The colour of bingo paper in play is announced for each session and shown on the posted bingo program. Raven Bingo offers no progressive, hybrid or bonus games, and no prize pot is seeded.

Bingo cards are supplied only as physical bingo paper. Raven Bingo does not issue bingo cards by electronic means (Term and Condition 65).

4.  ODDS OF WINNING

A player's odds of winning are affected by:

• The number of bingo paper faces sold for that session
• The number of calls in which a game must be won
• The type of pattern that must be achieved

Games with fewer calls and more restrictive patterns are harder to win. The call figures shown for each game are estimates based on ticket sales of 3-up strips in play — they are not limits, and the actual number of calls varies with the number of cards sold.

5.  BINGO PAPER AND PRICE

• Bingo paper is purchased from BCLC's authorized Bingo Paper Distribution Centre and must be used exactly as supplied by BCLC
• Paper is 3-UP, using a rotating series of four to seven colours
• Each 3-up strip costs $5.00 — there are no discounts, bulk pricing or promotional pricing, at any location
• Cards may not be purchased using credit (Term and Condition 4), and must not be resold or altered
• Bingo paper may NOT be cut, damaged or separated
• Bingo cards are provided as physical paper only and are never issued electronically (Term and Condition 65)

6.  WHO CAN PLAY

• Players must be 19 years of age or older
• Minors are not permitted to purchase cards, play, sell cards, or assist in the conduct of the event (Gaming Control Regulation, s. 32)
• A minor may be present at the bingo facility only if under the supervision of their parent or guardian, or as an employee carrying out their duties — other than as a gaming worker — under the supervision of their employer
• Photo identification may be required upon prize claim

7.  DECLARING A BINGO

Players must call the player hotline at 250-841-1007 during the live game to declare a valid bingo.

• The call must be made before the next number is drawn
• A bingo declared after that window is not valid
• Once a winner is confirmed, the next game begins after a 40-second pause
• The hotline is for declaring bingos during live play only — for all other enquiries, see Section 12

Verifying a winner

• Before a game is closed, the caller asks three times whether there are any other bingos
• Players must not clear or discard their bingo paper until the winner has been verified
• Every winning card is verified in the presence of a neutral player who is not a winner of that game
• A bingo declared after the caller’s third and final request is not valid

Multiple winners

Where more than one valid bingo is declared on the same call, or within the caller’s three requests for other bingos, the prize is divided equally among all valid winners, with each share rounded up to the nearest whole dollar.

If no bingo is declared

Numbers continue to be called until a valid bingo is declared. The call figures shown for each game are typical, not a cut-off — no game is closed without a winner.

8.  PRIZE CLAIMS

To claim a prize, a player must present:

• The original, undamaged winning bingo paper, signed by the player
• Valid government-issued photo identification

Verified prizes are awarded as soon as possible (Term and Condition 18). A record of every prize awarded is kept as part of our gaming records, showing the licence number, the date and time, the prize awarded, the winner’s name and signature, and the signature of a witness.

Retention period for unclaimed prizes

A prize must be claimed within 30 days of the session in which the winner was determined. 

If a prize is still unclaimed at the end of the retention period, the prize will be:

• Used for another licensed gaming event conducted by the AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society within 12 months of the licence period end date; or
• If the Society does not hold a licensed gaming event within that time, donated within 12 months of the licence period end date to a charitable organization that is located in British Columbia, holds a valid Canada Revenue Agency registration, and is not the Society.

All prizes are paid directly by Raven Bingo to the verified winner. Retailers do not pay prizes.

9.  BROADCAST AND TECHNICAL CONDITIONS

Raven Bingo is broadcast live on YouTube at youtube.com/@ravenbingo. In accordance with Term and Condition 27:

• The livestream is available for any member of the public to view live, without restriction
• The calling of numbers and the determination of every winner is shown in real time and is never pre-recorded
• A recording of each livestream is retained as part of our gaming event records

The live game is not streamed on Facebook.

If technical difficulties occur

If technical difficulties occur — for example an internet or power outage — Raven Bingo will:

• Make reasonable efforts to resume play
• Post updates on our website and social media, including the Raven Bingo Facebook group at facebook.com/groups/ravenbingo
• Reschedule a game only where a technical failure cannot be resolved. Prizes are not carried forward to a later session

Seating and tables

Raven Bingo is played remotely, on cards purchased in advance. No table or seat is assigned, reserved or "saved" for any player.

10.  WHERE TO BUY CARDS

Cards are sold through retail partners across mid and north Vancouver Island, the Comox Valley, Port Alberni and the Sunshine Coast — current locations are listed at www.theraven.fm/Raven-Bingo. All retail partners:

• Are trained on proper handling, sales tracking and age verification
• Sell every card at $5.00 — retailers do not set prices
• Are subject to regular pickup and reconciliation of cash and unsold cards
• Comply with all conditions of Licence #174735, the Licensed Charitable Gaming Event Terms and Conditions, and these House Rules

11.  WORKERS, DIRECTORS AND STAFF

• No person may play in a Raven Bingo game while that person is assisting in the operation of the game. This applies to paid workers and volunteers alike.
• Directors and employees of the AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society may not play or win in Raven Bingo
• All gaming funds are securely stored, and gaming funds are never used as a cash float 

12.  COMPLAINTS AND INQUIRIES

If you have a question or concern about Raven Bingo operations, prize payouts or conduct, please contact:

Complaints are acknowledged and reviewed by the General Manager, who responds directly to the player. A complaint that cannot be resolved at that level is referred to the Board of Directors. A record of all complaints is kept as part of our gaming records.

Matters not covered by these rules

Any situation not addressed in these House Rules is decided by the General Manager, or by the event manager on duty, in accordance with the Licensed Charitable Gaming Event Terms and Conditions and the conditions of Licence #174735.

In the event of a conflict between these House Rules and the Licensed Charitable Gaming Event Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions take precedence and must be followed.

13.  USE OF PROCEEDS

All net proceeds from Raven Bingo support the mandate of the AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society. The purposes of the society are:

1. To enrich the lives of the children of our Nation by providing opportunities to learn our culture and teach resilience.
2. To be a vehicle for training our children in artistic, sporting, educational and cultural fields through relevant cultural activities.
3. To restore cultural integrity in our community by removing the impacts of residential schools.
4. To provide resources for activities that support our community in providing a healthy cultural lifestyle.
5. To work with the people of Homalco to build a better potential for our youth and pass on our culture to the generations to come.
