The Campbell River Hospice Society has launched its Annual Holiday Campaign, running through December 30th.
This year’s campaign carries what organizers call an urgent goal to raise $60,000, a critical amount needed to keep hospice support services available at no cost for individuals and families in need.
With a 55 percent fundraising deficit this year, the Society says the campaign is more vital than ever.
The Society relies heavily on community generosity, as only two percent of funding comes from government sources outside the annual gaming grant.
Every donation ensures that families receive the care and comfort they need during life’s most difficult times.
Donations can be made online, in person, or by phone.
A great way to help is to host your own fundraiser.
A few fun and creative ideas:
- Office party: Incorporate giving to Hospice at your office Christmas party in honor of your staff or through a fun activity.
- Host an auction: Gather homemade goods or crafts and hold an auction at your office Christmas party or family gathering.
- Holiday games for a cause: Organize a festive game or challenge with your staff leading up to the holidays, with proceeds supporting hospice care.
Get creative, have some fun, and make an impact this holiday season.
Every effort brings the society closer to reaching their goal and ensures that compassionate care remains available to all who need it.
