North Island College is celebrating another record-setting convocation season.
A total of 484 students registered to take part in graduation ceremonies across the Campbell River, Comox Valley, and Port Alberni campuses this month.
That edges out last year's record of 483 participants and continues a trend of strong student turnout, after 388 students registered in 2024.
Graduates were joined by family, friends, and supporters to celebrate the completion of their studies.
The ceremonies also featured the handcrafted paddles created by First Nation artists for last year's convocation, along with updated academic regalia.
The Campbell River ceremony at the Tidemark Theatre drew 75 graduates.
Three events at Courtenay's Sid Williams Theatre accounted for 325 students, while the final ceremony in Port Alberni welcomed 84 graduates.
Students crossed the stage from a wide range of programs, including nursing, business, early childhood education, health care, human services, Indigenous language and leadership studies, trades, fine arts, tourism, and technology.
