The annual Cumberland Home and Garden Tour is set for Saturday, June 27th, offering visitors a chance to explore some of the Village's most unique homes, gardens, gathering spaces, and community landmarks.

Organized by the Cumberland Community Forest Society, this year's event is being described as a Home and Garden Tour with a twist.

The society has partnered with Comox Valley Arts to showcase local creativity through pop-up galleries and exhibitions at stops throughout the tour.

Visitors will find a wide variety of artistic displays, including textiles, screen printing, painting, and filmmaking, featuring artists from across the Comox Valley.

Organizers say resilience remains a key theme of the tour. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about urban farming projects, FireSmart initiatives, solar energy systems, water conservation efforts, native plant landscaping, and pollinator-friendly gardens.

The tour also highlights spaces designed to promote community connection and well-being.

Cumberland Community Forest Society Executive Director Meaghan Cursons says the event celebrates the creativity, generosity, and character of the community, while recognizing both Cumberland's history and its future.

This year's tour features 25 properties throughout the village.

Tickets are available now for $30, with all proceeds supporting land protection, stewardship, and environmental education programs in the Cumberland Forest.

Ticket holders can pick up their tour passport at Village Square, at the corner of 3rd Street and Dunsmuir Avenue, beginning at 8:30 Saturday morning.

More information is available at Cumberland Community Forest Society.
