The Comox Valley’s premiere Haunted House experience is returning to The LINC Youth Centre in Courtenay - and organizers say it's scarier than ever!

Haunted House hours this year are next Tuesday October 25 through to Thursday October 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday October 28 & Saturday October 29 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

On Halloween night, Monday October 31, bring younger kids and easily-frightened adults for Half the Fright Night from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family.

The haunted house is planned and run by youth aged 8 - 18 in The LINC’s Ghoul
School with support from staff.

Alexis Forbes, youth services coordinator at The LINC, says the team has been hard at work setting up some serious scares for everyone.

Over 20 local youth have been busy since September preparing for the event, making sets and props and gearing to dress up and scare the guests.

The LINC is located at 300 Old Island Highway, near the Ryan Road intersection. You can find more information at https://www.courtenay.ca/EN/meta/events/events-list/recreation/the-linc-haunted-house-3.html

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
