A survey wraps today as School District 72 looks for feedback on its Long-Range Facilities Plan.
The plan helps guide decisions on capital improvements to school buildings, sites and learning environments across the district over the next 10 years.
The plan is a ministry-required document that supports school districts in managing buildings and properties over time.
It considers factors such as changing enrolment, space utilization, evolving programs, accessibility, safety and sustainability.
The updated plan will build on previous planning work, align with the district’s Strategic Plan and help inform future capital requests to the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The survey asks for feedback on priorities for school facilities, types of learning spaces, outdoor areas, community use and how the district should plan for growth and change in the years ahead.
