For evacuees who returned to their properties with a mess, there is plenty of information at Comox Valley RD, including a homeowner’s checklist, what to do after a flood, health service information, how to dispose flood impacted debris, and trailer, camper and boat disposal.
Updated information will also be shared on the Comox Valley Regional District social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Bluesky).
The Comox Valley Emergency Operations Centre remains open, and the Local State of Emergency remain in place.
The reception centre at the Lower Native Sons Hall was closed at 3pm Saturday after all emergency orders and alerts were rescinded.
