The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.

The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.

Born in Campbell River and raised in Nanaimo, the Chamber says Paris Gaudet has extensive experience with inspiring community leaders, businesses, and stakeholders toward a common vision.

She has extensive experience with inspiring community leaders, businesses, and stakeholders toward a common vision. Paris is an inclusive leader, community champion, speaker, mentor, advisor, and catalyzer in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. From managing innovation programs and working with entrepreneurs, businesses, and boards, to championing diversity and executing project plans, Paris is a strategist who brings valuable skills and passion to the Chamber.

Gaudet stepped into the new role yesterday.

- Leadership Victoria – Contract Programs Manager (2022)

- Academy of Chief Executives of Technology Companies (Vancouver) - Executive Director (2019-2020)

- Canada’s Digital Technology Supercluster (Vancouver) - Capacity Building Program Lead (2019-2019)

- Innovation Island Technology Association (Nanaimo) - Executive Director (2010-2018)

- Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce - Board of Directors (2016-2018)

- Vancouver Island University Alumni Association - Board of Directors (2016-2018)

- Island Women in Science and Tech - Board of Directors (2015-2018)

- WeBC (formerly Women’s Enterprise Centre) - Board of Directors and Vice-Chair (2019 to present)

Paris is completing her Master of Arts in Leadership (Royal Roads University) and has a Human Services Diploma (Malaspina University College). Paris was born in Campbell River and raised in Nanaimo.
