The Campbell River Community Foundation has released a report measuring quality of life in the area.
Vital Signs is a national program led by community foundations and coordinated by Community Foundations of Canada.
The purpose of Vital Signs is to examine and raise awareness of the strengths and challenges facing the community of Campbell River.
The report includes Campbell River’s census area, and feedback from residents, on a variety of topics and issues, including the local Arts and Culture scene, children and youth, seniors, the environment, health, housing and more.
Since it was founded in 1990, the Campbell River Community Foundation has reached over $3.6 million in permanent endowment funds and has supported many local non-profit organizations and local initiatives in the City of Campbell River and area served by School District 72.
