It was a big night at the Comox Golf Club on Saturday for a local group that cares for feral and abandoned cats in the Comox Valley, readying them for adoption.
The Raven's own Matt in the Morning hosted the September 14th fundraiser for CATS - the Cats Advocate Teaching & Saving Society.
Between the tables sold, silent auction & 50/50 tickets sold on the night, $2,370 was raised and more is still being collected.
Volunteers with CATS continue to sell 50/50 tickets including this Thursday & Friday, September 19 and 20, from 10am-4pm, at the Cliffe Avenue Thrifty Foods in Courtenay.
You can also but tickets by emailing CATS.
Tickets are 3 for $20.
The pot is currently over $15,600 and they will make the draw October 10, 2024.
