Comox Valley residents looking for ways to remain active, creative and connected during the colder months will soon be able to begin planning for the new year.

The Winter 2027 Comox Valley Recreation Guide will be released online Tuesday, November 10th.

This year’s edition features a refreshed, cleaner design intended to make the available programs easier to browse and help residents find activities suited to their interests, schedules and abilities.

The seasonal guide will include recreation, fitness and aquatic programming, along with arts activities and other community opportunities available at recreation facilities throughout the Comox Valley.

Programs will be offered for a variety of ages, abilities and activity levels.

Families and individuals can use the guide to compare programs, schedules and locations before deciding which activities are right for them.

Registration information and other important dates will be included with the program listings.

The Winter 2027 Comox Valley Recreation Guide will be available beginning Tuesday at City of Courtenay.

Register in three ways:

  • Online at Comox Valley Recreation
  • By phone at 250-334-9622, ext. 0
  • In person at the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre and Comox Valley Sports Centre, 8 am to 8:30 pm

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
