Drivers in Campbell River are being advised of a full road closure along part of Edgewood Drive on Thursday.
The closure is scheduled between 575 and 598 Edgewood Drive from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. while City crews complete a water-service repair.
Local residents will continue to have access, but other motorists should expect possible delays and use an alternate route whenever possible.
Traffic-control personnel will remain on site throughout the repair. Drivers travelling near the work zone are asked to slow down, obey posted signs and follow all directions from workers.
The City says any properties expected to experience a temporary interruption to their water service have already been notified directly.
The affected section of Edgewood Drive is expected to reopen once the repair is completed late this afternoon.
If you have concerns or to report an incident, contact the City of Campbell River by emailing dogwood.centre@campbellriver.ca or calling 250-286-4033.
