Drivers in Campbell River should prepare for a full closure on part of Pinecrest Road today as City crews complete fire-hydrant renewal work.
Pinecrest Road will be closed between Thulin Street South and Murphy Street South from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The City says the work is part of Campbell River’s regular fire-hydrant maintenance and renewal program.
Local access will be maintained throughout the project, but drivers travelling through the area should allow some extra time and be prepared for possible delays.
Traffic-control personnel and signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to slow down and follow all posted directions while the work is underway.
If you have questions, or to report an incident, contact the City of Campbell River by emailing dogwood.centre@campbellriver.ca or calling 250-286-4033.
