Construction will continue on 1st Street in Courtenay as part of the 1st Street Lift Station Project.
To allow for the final connections and paving, there will be road closures continuing today and running through December 13th.
Work will happen Mondays to Fridays from 7am to 7pm. The detour is available via Woods Avenue.
The community is asked to follow direction from traffic controllers and allow extra time travelling in the area.
