Dorothy Manser was a local artist who lived in Black Creek from 1971 to 1992. Her first instructor was Black Creek artist Dave Harrison followed by classes with Cumberland artist Clive Powsey. She later joined a Cumberland drawing group. She became an accomplished artist in many mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolours and drawing. Dorothy entered many art exhibitions in the Comox Valley and on Vancouver Island.
We greatly appreciate Dorothy's family and friends for their generosity in donating her paintings to be sold as a Fundraiser for Halbe Hall.
The event is from 10am to 2pm & everyone is welcome.
