BC Hydro has increased flows down Elk Falls Canyon. A public safety notice is in place this week, ending Saturday.
BC Hydro redirected water flows from the John Hart powerhouse for planned maintenance work.
During this time, community members are asked to stay away from the water flow, particularly just upstream of Elk Falls.
People will be able to view the falls from the safety of the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge.
