A Celebration of Life is being held this weekend for former Comox Mayor Russ Arnott.

Arnott passed away on November 11th, surrounded by family.

The community is invited to pay their respects and celebrate Arnott’s legacy at the ceremony on Sunday at the Comox Community Centre.

A book of condolence has been in place at town hall since Arnott’s passing where you can sign before the service, or you can send an online message through the town’s website that will be shared with his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any local charity in his memory.

The event starts at 3pm & everyone’s welcome.

Flags in Comox will be flying at half-mast until Tuesday.
