A crew from BC is helping out with the devastating fires scorching parts of California.
Coulson Aviation said in a post on social media that its crew is currently on the frontlines of the Palisades Fire, “dedicated to supporting suppression efforts and safeguarding lives and property.”
A pair of Canadian-made water-bombing planes provided by the Quebec government are also on their way to assist in fighting the devastating fires.
At least five people have been killed and more than 1,300 structures have been lost in the multiple fires, fueled by higher than normal winds.
Two of the fires began during the day on Tuesday and another, in the Hollywood Hills, was sparked Tuesday night.
