The Wounded Warrior Run 2026 is underway.
The team of runners began their trek along the length of Vancouver Island in Port Hardy yesterday morning and arrived in Woss last night to wrap day one.
On Monday, runners will make their way to Sayward before stopping in Campbell River on Tuesday, and Oyster Bay and Comox on Wednesday.
The run began in 2013 when 2 Canadian Armed Forces members were looking to raise funds and awareness for Wounded Warriors Canada, a national mental health service provider specializing in group-based, residential trauma therapy programs for injured Veterans, First Responders & their family members.
They’ll wrap this year’s run in Victoria on March 1st.
