A section of Lazo Road will be closed, starting today, as part of work on the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.
The Comox Valley Regional District says the construction zone, approaching Torrence Road, will be closed to all traffic, including bike and pedestrian traffic, 24 hours a day through Friday, February 27.
It’s part of construction of the sewer force main.
Beginning Monday, March 2, for about 6-to-8 weeks, portions of Torrence Road and Lazo Road, near the Torrence/Lazo intersection, will also be closed for construction, again, to all traffic.
Construction is subject to suitable weather conditions or other possible construction-related delays.
