It is Thanksgiving Long Weekend, and city, town, and village services will be affected.

Courtenay and Campbell River City Halls will be closed Monday - same story for other communities, and both the Strathcona Regional District and Comox Valley Regional District offices.

You’ll still find some things open on the holiday - from 1:30pm to 4:30pm on Monday, there’s an Everyone Welcome Skate & Pond Hockey and Public Swim taking place at the Strathcona Gardens Rec Complex.

Garbage pickup, because of the holiday, will be pushed ahead a day.
