Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:57 AM

A vigil was held in Campbell River last night to show support for the victims and survivors of the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge.

The Society called the gathering an informal time to come together, reflect and honor all those affected by last week’s tragedy.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.
