Campbell River RCMP are asking for the public’s help following a stabbing earlier this week.
Officers were called to an altercation around 7:50 p.m. on March 23rd in the area of Cedar Street and 16th Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 53-year-old man suffering from a serious stab wound.
BC Emergency Health Services responded to the scene and transported the man to hospital for treatment.
Police say the incident appears to be targeted, and there is no risk to the general public.
The investigation is ongoing, and officers are now looking for anyone who may have witnessed what happened or has video footage from the area, including dash cams or surveillance cameras.
