The City of Courtenay is preparing to ask residents what they think about municipal services and community priorities.
The 2026 Resident Survey, titled “Your Courtenay, Your Voice,” will launch Thursday, November 5.
Independent research partner PRA Incorporated will telephone a random selection of Courtenay residents aged 18 and older and invite them to participate.
Because participants are being selected randomly, not every resident or household will receive a call. Those contacted are encouraged to participate and provide honest feedback about what the City is doing well, where improvements may be needed and which community issues deserve greater attention.
The survey is intended to help the City better understand what matters most to residents and how they view existing municipal programs and services.
Results will help inform Courtenay’s strategic planning, budget process and future service improvements.
