The City of Campbell River has launched a new mobile app aimed at making it easier for residents to access recreation programs and services on the go.
The Recreation in Campbell River app brings schedules, program details, and activity information together in one place, allowing users to browse and register for programs directly from their mobile devices.
Residents can also pay for programs, manage memberships, and use a digital membership card to check in at facilities.
The app also allows users to cancel registered programs within the allowed cancellation window.
Mayor Kermit Dahl says the app offers a more streamlined and efficient way for people to connect with recreation services, adding it gives residents the flexibility to access information and stay active on their own schedule.
The City notes that private rentals will continue to be handled through existing booking channels.
Residents can download the app at City of Campbell River.
