This six part dialogue series examines several facets of the toxic drug emergency and how Campbell River is being impacted. Expert presentations preface a conversation with the audience to educate, raise awareness and provide opportunities to get involved in solutions. Topics include: Prevention - Talking to Youth About Drugs; The Faces of the Toxic Drug Emergency; Notice the Change - The New Unregulated Drugs; Harm Reduction Where You Least Expect It; Culture: The Missing Piece and a final Celebration of Community Action that will include individuals, agencies and programs the are working to support people who use substances. Refreshments will be served.
