The event originated in 2003 as a community driven event supporting women in education with scholarships & bursaries for entering, continuing & graduation students in all program areas, as well as nonprofit organizations. Through the years they’ve supported Robron/Continuing Education, Babies Best Chance, Foundry & the CR Hospice Society. Runners & walkers start at 9am. Participants are asked to show up at 45 minutes early to register. They’re always looking for sponsors & donations. Proceeds this year will benefit the Campbell River & North Island Transition Society, Caremongering & the Campbell River Hospice Society. To register, sponsor or for more information, visit Women For Women.
