RAVEN BINGO

We are proud to announce that we are officially launching Raven Bingo into the Campbell River market on December 3rd, 2025.  This means that Raven Bingo cards will be available for purchase from November 27th onward. 

More purchase locations will be added weekly, so keep checking!

Raven Bingo games take place Wednesday nights at 7PM and are streamed live on YouTube.

If you have a winning card, call 250-841-1007 immediately to claim your prize.  Once we have determined that you have a winning bingo card, you will be given instructions on how to collect your prize.

Bingo cards are available for purchase until Wednesdays at 5PM. (430PM at the Homalco Band Office)

As of December 11th, Raven Bingo cards are available at Dirty Laundry Lounge in Willow Point & Forbidden Zone Pizza in Oyster Bay!  Bingo cards will be available in the Comox Valley & various mid-Island locations in the near future.

Raven Bingo 2025 – House Rules

Raven Bingo is operated by the AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society under Class A Bingo Licence #163541, issued by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) of British Columbia. Bingo games are conducted every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Homalco Band Office, 1218 Bute Crescent, Campbell River, BC.

All players are encouraged to review these House Rules carefully before playing. House Rules will be posted:

• At the Homalco Band Office bingo venue
• On our website (www.theraven.fm)
• At all card distribution/purchase locations

The AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society complies fully with BC’s Licensed Charitable Gaming Rules, as required by law.

Game Format

Each Raven Bingo session will consist of 4 combination games, played on the same 3-up bingo paper. Patterns may vary, but a standard game night might include:

• Game 1: 1 Line (any direction)
• Game 2: Letter “L”
• Game 3: Picture Frame
• Game 4: Full Blackout

A full list of prize breakdowns and game patterns will be posted and announced in advance of play.

Broadcast & Technical Conditions

During the public launch phase, Raven Bingo will be broadcast live via online streaming on Youtube (@Raven Bingo)

If technical difficulties occur (e.g., internet outages), we will:

• Make reasonable efforts to resume play
• Post updates via our social media and website
• Reschedule games only if deemed necessary due to unresolvable technical failure

Bingo Paper

• Bingo paper is purchased from BCLC’s authorized Bingo Paper Distribution Centre
• Paper is 3-UP, using 4 to 7 colour rotations
• Each card costs $5.00, with no discounts
• Cards may not be purchased using credit, and must not be resold or altered
• Bingo paper may NOT be cut, damaged, or separated
• All bingo paper must be used as supplied by BCLC

Who Can Play

• Players must be 19+ years old
• Minors are not permitted to purchase, play, sell, or participate in the conduct of the event (per Section 13.10 of the Rules)
• ID may be required upon prize claim

Declaring a Bingo

• Players must call the designated phone line during the live game to declare a valid bingo. 250-841-1007
• Calls must be made before the next number is drawn
• Once a winner is confirmed, the next game will begin after a 40-second pause
• Bingos declared after that window will not be valid

Prize Claims

• Players must present:
  • The original, undamaged winning bingo paper
  • Valid BC government-issued photo ID
• All prizes must be claimed within 30 days
• Unclaimed prizes will be returned to the prize pot

Prize amounts will be posted in advance and may vary based on card sales and community rollout.

Distribution & Vendors

Distribution (card sale) vendors are:

• Trained on proper handling, sales tracking, and age verification
• Subject to regular pickup and reconciliation of cash and unsold cards
• Committed to fully complying with all GPEB guidelines

Use of Proceeds

All net proceeds from Raven Bingo will be used to support the mandate of the AUPE Cultural Enhancement Society.

The purpose(s) of the society is (are):

1. To enrich the lives of the children of our Nation by providing opportunities to learn our culture and teach resilience.
2. To be a vehicle for training our children in artistic, sporting, educational and cultural fields through relevant cultural activities.
3. To restore cultural integrity in our community by removing the impacts of residential schools.
4. To provide resources for activities that support our community in providing a healthy cultural lifestyle.
5. To work with the people of Homalco to build a better potential for our youth and pass on our culture to the generations to come.

Board & Staff Rules

• Employees of Raven Bingo may not play or win
• Gaming roles are assigned in accordance with GPEB regulations
• A record of all volunteers, workers, and staff are maintained and submitted as required
