The Wounded Warrior Run is heading out of the Comox Valley on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the team left Campbell River and made it to Oyster River, where they met local firefighters and shared more about the programs available through Wounded Warriors Canada.
From there, they made a quick stop at Pumpkin Patch Nursery before continuing on to the Comox RCMP detachment, 888 Wing Air Force Association , followed by a stop in Cumberland to close out the day.
The team has raised more than $150 thousand toward its $250 thousand goal - proceeds support mental health programs for veterans, first responders, and their families.
The run ends this Sunday, March 1, in Victoria.
