The Wounded Warriors Run BC has wrapped after an eight day run across Vancouver Island.
The 12th annual run began on Sunday February 23rd in Port Hardy and runners crossed the finish line in Victoria yesterday.
The team of 8 runners was raising money for Wounded Warriors Canada - a national mental health service provider specializing in trauma therapy programs for injured Veterans, First Responders & their family members.
The group raised over $235,000 covering 800 kilometres of road.
Their goal is $250,000, and donations are being accepted until March 31st.
