Crews have begun the next stage of work on the Dyke Road Park Revitalization Project.
They’ll be doing some tree and excavation/grading work, creating new estuarine habitat and fish channel, along with prep for the new boardwalk.
The boardwalk is expected to be installed in the fall, with parking lot construction late this year or early next.
All work is off the roadway, so traffic disruptions are not expected. However, drivers should be aware of workers and equipment in the area.
The parking lot and viewing area will be closed until Fall of next year to coincide with the Sewer Conveyance Project.
