The City of Campbell River will begin removing the natural play structure and the slide at Centennial Park starting today with work expected to continue throughout the week.
The natural play structure has reached the end of its usable lifespan and is being removed for safety reasons.
Some areas of the park will be temporarily closed off to allow access for crews and equipment while the work is completed.
