The Willow Point Sportsplex in Campbell River will temporarily close later this month while crews refinish the gym floor.

The gym is scheduled to close from Monday, July 27, through Monday, August 3.

The entire Sportsplex facility will then close from Saturday, August 1, until Monday, August 3, while the maintenance work is completed.

The City says the project will renew the gym floor’s protective finish and help keep it in good condition for years to come.

Anyone with private bookings or registered programs affected by the closures will be contacted directly.

The Sportsplex is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4.
