A section of Penfield Road in Campbell River will be closed on Thursday while City crews complete a water service repair.

Penfield Road will be fully closed between Holm Road and Bowen Drive from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Traffic controls will be in place and drivers should be prepared for possible delays. Local access will remain available throughout the work.

The City says residents whose water service will be affected by the repair will be notified directly.

Drivers travelling through the area are asked to follow all posted traffic controls and allow a little extra time to reach their destination.
