Campbell River RCMP are continuing with their investigation after busting up a drug trafficking operation.
They were called out to a remote area outside of town on Thursday, February 8th after a citizen reported finding a body.
The Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant for Indignity to a Dead Body at a home on Cedar Street last week, where police found evidence of drug trafficking, including scales, weapons and approximately 150 grams of suspected cocaine, and pills.
Police say they are making efforts to determine if charges will be laid.
