A community event is happening today in Cumberland as the Village looks to make upgrades to Penrith Avenue.
Staff are looking for input from residents on how to move forward.
Calling Penrith Avenue, between First Street and Third Street, a vital connection in the community, just one block from Dunsmuir Avenue, the Village says the corridor plays a crucial role in how locals navigate the neighbourhood.
Upgrades will help improve safety, accessibility, and long-term service reliability.
Staff will be at the corner of First Street and Penrith Avenue from 430pm-6pm.
Residents can review the proposed improvements and take a short survey until August 4th, which will help with the final design.
Plans are expected to be shared this fall.
