A Vancouver Island man has claimed that whopping Lotto Max Jackpot draw from February 28th.
Scott Gurney has claimed the $55 million dollar prize.
“It’s life-altering,” said Gurney. “It just doesn’t seem real.”
The Sidney man says he checked his ticket on the Lotto app after hearing the ticket was bought locally over the radio.
At first, he thought he’d won $55,000.
The bookkeeper says he’ll be retiring once he finds someone to take care of his clients.
Gurney says he’s not exactly sure what the future holds, but it will include a new house on the Island.
He added, 'it will have a dock'.
