A section of trail through Ulverston Park in Cumberland will be temporarily closed this week while crews complete infrastructure maintenance.
Public access to the trail near Coniston Crescent will be unavailable from Tuesday, November 3rd, through Friday, November 6th.
The Village of Cumberland says crews will be clearing access to underground storm-drain and sanitary-sewer infrastructure in the area.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the affected section throughout the closure and respect all barriers, posted signs and directions from work crews.
The trails through Ulverston Park normally provide neighbourhood connections between Coniston Crescent, Mill Street and Ulverston Avenue. Visitors should use an alternate route until the work is completed and the affected trail reopens.
The Village has not indicated that nearby roads or the entire park will be closed.
