Several trails are being closed as work is underway in the Beaver Lodge Forest Lands.
Until February 15th, the Norma’s Loop and Huckleberry Trails will be closed to replace the stream crossing structure over North Simms Creek.
Huckleberry Trail will be closed from the ERT junction to Norma’s Loop.
Norma’s Loop Trail will be closed from the northern junction with the Rail Trail to the junction with McIvor’s Rail.
The Simms Creek Trail will be closed February 17th to 24th, from the intersection with Dogwood St. South, to the Rail Trail in the Beaver Lodge Forest Lands. That’s when they’ll replace the stream crossing structure over South Simms Creek.
The Ministry of Forests is asking all trail users to respect the signs, barricades and instructions of work crews until work is complete and the trails are reopened.
