There will be a full road closure on Galerno Road, between Lal Road and Frances Avenue, this week.

The closure runs today through Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m for maintenance work.

Traffic controls will be in place, and local access is available.

Meanwhile, there’s a traffic pattern change on Comox Road this week as part of work on the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.

Vehicle traffic crossing the 17th Street Bridge will be unable to turn right onto Comox Road until Friday.

All traffic for the town will be detoured onto the official detour route, up Ryan Road and onto Lerwick Road.
