Drivers in Campbell River can expect delays this week as the City moves ahead with two separate infrastructure projects.
Partial road closures will be in effect along Highway 19A between Petersen Road and Tamarac Street on Tuesday, March 17, Wednesday, March 18, and again on Tuesday, March 24.
The work is part of preparations for upcoming sewer upgrades in the area.
During that time, single-lane alternating traffic will be in place, and delays are expected.
Local access will remain available, and drivers are being asked to follow posted traffic controls.
Meanwhile, a full road closure is scheduled for Discovery Drive between Hughes Road and Wood Road on Tuesday, March 17.
The closure will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as crews complete a water service repair. Traffic controls will be in place in the area, with local access maintained.
Community members are asked to check City of Campbell River or social media channels for updates and to avoid contacting the Dogwood Operations Centre for information.
If you have concerns, or to report an incident, contact dogwood.centre@campbellriver.ca.
