The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is set to start installing fibre optic cables, with construction and survey work happening beginning today and running through February 10th.
The CVRD says motorists can expect minor traffic disruptions along Headquarters Road, Old Island Highway to the Fifth Street Bridge, and Puntledge Road.
There will also be minor disruptions along Anderton Avenue, 8th Avenue, and Cumberland Road, however these disruptions should only last 1-2 days towards the end of the project.
