It’s McHappy Day at McDonalds locations, in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities & other local children’s charities throughout the country.
Since its inception in 1977, McHappy Day has helped Ronald McDonald House support more than 425 thousand families across Canada, giving them a place to stay together when they have to travel for their sick child’s treatment.
A portion of sales of all menu items will benefit Ronald McDonald House, and the Campbell River Hospital Foundation locally.
Long time owners of McDonalds on 16th avenue in Campbell River, Yens & Mary Rolinski, have taken part in McHappy Day for 16 years now, and will have McDonalds swag for sale in the restaurant today.
Matt in the Morning will broadcast live from 12 to 2pm today at the McDonalds at 1361 on 16th Avenue to support McHappy Day.
