Today is McHappy Day, where the sale of every item on the McDonalds menu results in donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities & other local children’s charities across Canada.
Jens Rolinski, owner of the McDonald’s in Campbell River, says they’ll have lots of ways to make a donation today - through sales of McDonalds’ socks, hats, t-shirts, tote bags, and other swag.
Proceeds in Campbell River and the Comox Valley will benefit Ronald McDonald House and other local charities, including the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
Since McHappy Day was first celebrated in 1977, McDonald’s Canada, its franchisees, and generous guests have contributed nearly $66 million for Ronald McDonald Houses and local Canadian children’s charities.
If you can’t make it into a McDonald’s today, you can also donate online at Ronald McDonald House British Columbia and Yukon.
