The community’s invited to Campbell River today, to view the Clothesline Project.

Hosted by the Campbell River & North Island Transition Society, he Clothesline Project is a powerful display of decorated t-shirts created by people who have been affected by abuse.

The event takes place in communities all over the world, and locally, members of the community are invited to visit Spirit Square to view the display and the opportunity to decorate a t-shirt on the clothesline.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
