The protesters says they did that work in the overnight hours late last week, something confirmed by police in Oak Bay. A statement on the "Tyre Extinguishers" website says the group's members are defending themselves against climate change, air pollution and unsafe drivers.It adds the minor inconvenience of a flat tire turns into a giant obstacle for"driving massive killer vehicles around our streets." Police say the "minor" inconvenience of driving on a flat or deflated tire could turn into something deadly. The investigation continues. Oak Bay Police are asking anyone with video surveillance or dash cam footage to give them a call.
