A survey on the development of the City of Courtenay’s Accessibility Plan wraps up on Friday.
Take part in the survey at at City of Courtenay, or alternate formats are available upon request..
The plan will identify, remove, and prevent barriers that make it difficult for people to access municipal programs, services, information, and facilities.
Those who complete the survey can share experiences with a range of barriers - including physical, attitudinal, communication, technological, and systemic barriers - across key areas such as transportation, employment, service delivery, housing, the built environment, and information access.
The Accessibility Plan will be published in late spring 2026, with updates required at least every three years.
