Friday is the last day to provide feedback online as the Town of Comox works to update its Official Community Plan, scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
The 2025 OCP update aims to better align with the community's vision for Comox over the next 20 years, with a focus on addressing housing needs.
Also available to view and comment on is the Draft Development Permit Area Guidelines. Any revisions will be made prior to Council’s consideration of OCP Bylaw readings in October.
The DPAs are a component of the OCP, which help ensure growth and development in Comox that respects the community’s character, protects sensitive natural areas, and considers long-term sustainability.
Community members are invited to share your feedback by emailing planning@comox.ca.
