The City of Campbell River has released its Summer 2026 Recreation Guide, with registration opening today at 10 a.m.

The guide outlines a full schedule of programs and activities running from June through August, aimed at helping residents stay active and connected throughout the summer months.

Registration can be completed online, through the City’s Recreation app, in person at the Community Centre or Sportsplex, or by phone.

City staff say this year’s lineup offers something for all ages and interests.

Highlights include “Soccer by the Sea” on June 18th at Robron Athletic Park, where residents can watch Canada take on Qatar in the FIFA World Cup 2026 on a big screen, alongside family-friendly activities.

Summer day camps are also returning, offering a mix of creative and active programming for kids.

Another returning favourite event is the Colorful Run, where participants are encouraged to walk or run through a course filled with bright colours.

In addition to programs at City facilities, activities will also take place across the community, including free live music and dance lessons at Spirit Square, the reopening of the Centennial Outdoor Pool with free youth swims, and outdoor yoga sessions at Robert Ostler Park.

View the guide at City of Campbell River.

Register online at 2026 Summer Recreation Guide.
